Malinda Jenner has had 35 years’ experience working with children, young people and adults in varying capacities including classroom teaching, individual tutoring of children with specific learning difficulties and art therapy with groups and individuals. Her warm and understanding approach creates an environment in which children, young people and adults feel safe and supported in exploring the matters that have brought them to therapy.
Malinda assists people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives and to heal, through reflecting on whatever arises through the creative experience and in the works created. A passionate photographer, Malinda enjoys incorporating photography into her therapeutic practice, having completed training in Therapeutic Photography at the Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK) and Mindfulness Photography with the Look Again program by Ruth Davey (UK). Malinda has long had a passion for being in natural environments, camping, walking and creating photos using a mindful approach. |
This has led to an interest in the intersection of art therapy, nature therapy and mindful photography and the health benefits research has shown each of these to have. She is in the process of developing group courses that cover these topics. If you would like further information or to express an interest in participating in a group course, contact Malinda. |
