If you have NDIS Self-managed or Plan-managed funding, you can access funding to cover the costs of Arts Therapy sessions, provided it supports you in meeting your NDIS goals. Malinda offers one to one sessions and group sessions.
Malinda creates a safe supported environment where you can express yourself and explore the things that will help you live the best life you can. Acting as a facilitator, she will support you in exploring and expressing your emotions, finding out more about yourself and discovering ways you can deal with your challenges. Malinda's approach does not involve diagnosis and is person centred. Participants do not need to have any art skills. The focus is on the process rather than the end product.
Sessions will be planned around your NDIS goals and personal goals for a defined time frame, depending on your funding allocation and needs. Sessions can be either 60 minutes or 90 minutes in length.
